Packaging Design

Our in-house design center develops packaging from your component's CAD data, physical samples or failure history, engineering material selection, structural design and closure methods before a single tool is cut. Design outputs are validated in our testing laboratory before moving to production.

Our Process

How Packaging Design Works

1

Component & Risk Assessment

Review component geometry, weight, fragility and known failure modes from field or warehouse data.

2

Concept Design

Develop packaging concepts across material and structure options, weighing protection performance against cost and sustainability.

3

Prototype & Fit Validation

Build a physical prototype and confirm fit, closure and handling against the actual component or a representative sample.

4

Testing & Sign-off

Validate the prototype through drop, compression or vibration testing before releasing to production tooling.

What You Get

  • Packaging design specification document
  • Prototype samples for approval
  • Bill of materials and supplier drawing set
  • Test report supporting the final design
